Lesson Length

  • I teach 55 minute voice lessons. (I usually go a lil longer if I don't have another student back to back.)

  • Example: Wednesday: 5pm - 5:55pm EST

  • Children 10 - 13 years old can work with me for 25 minute lessons focusing on proper breathing, not straining, vowel shapes, and major scales

Virtual Lessons

  • Each Individual 55minute lesson is $90 with little exceptions for rescheduling or cancellations.

  • OR

  • Long Term Students Monthly payment system equaling to $340 a month. Call or Email me for more details.

  • I do not do trial voice lessons. 1 month commitment of lessons is the only real way to see significant improvement.

  • If for some reason you decide to stop lessons, I can send you back the remaining funds for the unsung lessons.

  • Send payment to one of the following:

    • Zelle

    • PayPal

    • Venmo

Virtual Video Set Up

  • Our Lessons will be online using “Google Meet” similar to zoom but easier

  • I will send you and/or your child a google calendar invite/email and there will be a video link and they will clicks the button "Join Google Meet"

  • Audio Setting: Noise Cancellation OFF

What Student Needs for Online Lessons

  • Computer/Ipad: PC or Mac Computer or Ipad with working video camera. Please no lessons on smart phones, as it lowers the quality of our lessons.

  • USB MIC: I recommend my students buy a usb mic that they can connect to their computer or ipad easily for a more high quality sound. Lessons are still available without a mic as I have taken online voice lessons from my own teacher for 5 years without one. Very high frequencies are the only issue. Note, with usb mics, you do not have to download any software. They are VERY user friendly.

    • Mic Option: AUDIOPRO USB Microphone $40. A great mic with similar quality to the Blue Yeti. It is a less expensive brand because it’s a less popular brand. (this can connect to a MAC or PC)

Late Policy

If the student will be late, have them text or call me as soon as possible. THOUGH If I have a student right after them, I have to stop our lesson at our scheduled time to respect the next student's time. The missed time will not be made up.

In Person Lessons in NYC

  • Each Individual 55minute lesson is $110

  • Paid Ahead Monthly before your first lesson of the month. (4 or 5 lessons at a time depending on length of the month)

  • Time Slots: Contact Rob for a weekly time slot.

  • Location: Practice rooms at Ripley-Grier Music Studios: 520 8th Ave 16th floor, New York, NY 10018 OR 305 W 38th St, New York, NY 10018. Rob will book the room and try to keep the same room each lesson.

  • Cancellations:

    • If you cancel 24hrs in advance, $85 will be subtracted to your next monthly payment

    • If before, no refund will be made

    • If Rob has to cancel, he will let you know as early as he can, $110 will be reimbursed to you on next monthly payment.

  • Late Policy: Text Rob ASAP. Lessons cannot be extended.

  • Security: Arrive 10-15 minutes early before your lesson because you are required to show ID before entering the building. Lines are rarely long but happens once in a while. Lip trill and Review your materials in hallway while you wait.

  • Bring Water Bottle and sheet music/binder.

  • No trial voice lessons. 1 month commitment of lessons required.
